Happy Halloween!
To help set the mood, Rhonda shared her skeleton quilt. She used some techniques Sue taught us for making the border fit on this. I don't know if the ghost in her house is going to appreciate the competition!
Rhonda has 11 or 12 memory quilts to make for this one family. Here are two that she has made with the Take 5 pattern.
Peggy has been super productive. Here is a candy table runner she made. Some more of her goodies will be in the virtual section. This is just the sewn projects. She has been knitting and crocheting too!
I made this quilt for the Wounded Warriors. The pinwheels are orphan blocks from another quilt project.
Doris was our special guest this month. I wish she lived closer. She is a fun addition to our group when she visits. She is making an Antique Lace quilt for a friend in Florida. I hope you share the finished quilt with us. This is going to be beautiful!
Sue made a Disappearing Nine Patch quilt for the Wounder Warriors project. She was unable to be with us this month. Ireland was calling her name. She will be travelling there and visiting their daughter for a couple of weeks. I hope you are having a wonderful time!
Peggy made five Christmas Tree Skirts for her sister in law. These are gorgeous!
Peggy also made a baby quilt and body bib for her niece.
This table runner and large basket was made by Peggy for her daughter's mother in law.
I made Hawaiian ham and cheese sliders for our lunch. Peggy made queso dip. Rhonda and Doris provided moon pies from their trip to Lancaster yesterday. We sat around and enjoyed each other's company while we ate.
Thank you Rhonda for sharing your home with us so we can enjoy each other and our hobby.
Next meeting will be November 30. Rhonda is planning on having a yard sale! That should be a lot of fun.
We are talking about doing another shop hop for our Christmas meeting. I for one don't need any more fabric, but with the new Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt starting, there will probably be some colors that I want.
Happy Thanksgiving!
