This is Rhonda, our mentor. If not for Rhonda many of us would not be quilters. Thanks Rhonda! What a wonderful world of fabric and friends we have joined.
We had a few show and tells today. Sue brought her French fabric quilt that she is making for a friend.
Peggy brought her Disappearing 9 Patch lap quilt she made for her mother-in-law.
We were an industrious group today. Deb was working on her hand pieced hexagon quilt.
Linda and Cathy working on their projects.
Sheree and Peggy working on their projects.
Rhonda managed out charity projects as well as cutting and sewing.
We had our share of ripping as well as sewing. Here is Linda with her rows sewn together that weren't supposed to be sewn together.
And Pam's boo-boo that was more of a hat than a quilt block.
Here are the blocks as we sewed them into rows and organized them on the quilting frame.
Here is one of the quilts we are making for our charities on the design wall. We are making three of these scrappy red, white and blue quilts.
And of course we had food. We had broasted chicken, salad, a veggie tray with dip, deviled eggs, quilt club dip with crackers, nuts and chocolate (a quilting staple!) ice tea and cherry dessert.
Our next quilt club will be June 25th. See you then.
