July 2018 Virtual Show and Tell

Summer is flying by!  I wish the same would happen in the winter!  I love the heat and long days.

Rhonda got some of her quilts finished!  Here is her beautiful wedding quilt for her niece.
Rhonda went to the Poconos with Doris and friends and made a halloween quilt.
Rhonda's BH leader/ender checkerboard and strips with the red background.
Rhonda's On Ringo Lake.
Rhonda's 1/4 square triangle quilt top.

Patty's wallhanging-took two years to make.
Patty's placemats.

My sewing hasn't been quilt related this summer, so far.  I made four swim suits and shirts for some of the grandkids.  Part of Kamille's suit is on the line behind her.  She is wearing a shirt I made.  I would share swim suit picture-but I am in two of them!  Yikes!

Micah in his shirt
Elijah in his
Josiah in his.  I made some for myself also.

Peggy has been quilting and doing not quilting projects.  Her lovely bag.
Her round robin top is done.
 Peggy's aprons for a school.
and her work vest for the school.

Poor Cathy was unable to sew so far this summer.  "I haven’t done anything. We have not had any air conditioning all summer. My upstairs is too hot. "

Sue has been busy.  "I have been working on a memory wall hanging, artsy type. I am down to the appliqué of the butterflies. I am using a lot of non traditional materials. Also working on a quilt of valor for my 94 yr. old father in law.  Also a wall hanging for my daughter’s new classroom.....none of which are finished (no surprise).  Send pics as soon as I am done. Hope everyone is having a good summer! Stopped in Bedford at Mary’s quilt shop. She talked so much I didn’t have time to shop before my husband and grandson’s came back from eating ice cream."

And Linda has been busy too, but her quilts aren't quite finished, so no pics yet.

I think the plan for next month is to meet at Patty's with our Medallion quilts.  Patty, if you want to send me times I will post that here.  I think the directions can be sent in an email to each of us that need them.

My dogs have been sleeping on top of my quilt.  Hopefully it won't fall apart when I wash it!

I  hope to see everyone next month!  Have a great rest of the summer!
