Hi everyone! We are going to have a virtual show and tell to show each other what we have been doing to survive quarantine. But first, the weather report. It is May 3 and we finally have nice weather. It has been cold until the last day or two. We can finally go outside for fresh air and vitamin D.
I am just going to post your pictures and have your comments above your pictures.
Rhonda's: The 4 in my bedroom are my pineapple quilt. The other two are the back. A close up of the quilting pattern and the other with the runner Sue made me with Jenny's signature on it.
Doris's Jamestown Landing
Updated assembled memory pillow
2nd and 3rd quilt are going back to Fla as a surprise for granddaughter and mother of a 96 year old woman who passed away after having a stroke, fall w/fractured hip. The year before she was hoisted on the shoulders of 2 firemen and she had a glass of wine, very active person who embraced life.
Actually repaired a tarp in two areas. I impressed myself.
Last of the masks going out tomorrow!! Can’t stand making them for now!
The 2 small American block, one is for Cathy and I made a second for me. Loved the pattern.
It is not looking good for us to be able to get together in May. I hope everyone and their families stay well. Keep on quilting, sewing, crocheting and knitting!

I made one mask with ties and then found a
bunch of elastic in my grandmother's sewing basket. The masks in the picture
went to my friend in NYC. She has breast cancer and just finished chemo. She
will be having her reconstructive surgery in June in NYC.
The fish is for my Hawaii quilt. It will be a
whole row and I like them so much. I may make a second row. It is the MSQC
tutorial.
The last is the BH Unity quilt up to part 3.
Part 4 is using the easy angle. I lost my easy angle in this mess of a quilt
room so I ordered one and am waiting for that. I did start on Part 5. Got the
sashing with the 2 inch squares done and starting on the flying geese.
Sue's: The cat and dog are for my “other” daughter’s quilt to be given in July. The two
small memory quilted pcs will be a body pillow for my friend. Been making masks
for family. Hope everyone is well.
Linda's:
The 3 quilts are memory quilts. 1st one for a coworker, husband was a police
officer.
