Cloverleaf Quilter March 2019

Saturday March 23, 2019
We missed Pam and Peggy this month.  We did have two special guests from Quilting 4 All, Deb and Doris.  Friday we made a trip to Lancaster for fabric on Friday (Burkholders, Goods and Obies).

We worked on fabric bowls and tote bags for the NICU at Pinnacle.  Sheree busted out her Clue 7 blocks.

Deb tried a fabric bowl and then created her heart block for the CLQ mystery quilt.

 Doris and Deb's bowl creations.

Doris is working on a paper piecing mystery and we found the perfect background fabric at Burkholders.
These are the outsides of the bags for the NICU project.  There are 13 outsides so far. We are shooting for 30 bags.
Rhonda made this batik brown and blue quilt for her cousin.
 Rhonda's fabric bowls.
Rhonda's snowman quilt.  It is the same pattern Sheree made last year.
Sheree's t-shirt in memory of a wounded warrior.
Sue is working on an applique piece.  She has some interesting ideas' for this piece and can't wait to see the finished piece.
Sue's other quilt group did a similar round robin.  Each quilter designed a round.  Sue's is a Halloween theme and the quilting is spectacular.  Well done.

Sue's husband has been making quilts of valor.  Awesome job.
Linda is sampling our potluck, subs, potato salad, veggies and spice cake.

We have one more clue in the CLQ mystery before the placement reveal.  Seems like just yesterday we got started on this project.
Next quilt club is April 27th.
